Diem Dao

Hi 👋 I’m Diem Dao. A Vietnamese-American undergraduate at the University of South Carolina, majoring in Computer Information Systems and minoring in Business Information Management. 

Art is a major part of my life. When I was little I would watch art through anime and cartoons and create some of my own with the coloring books my parents bought me. I was a perfectionist even as a child and I remember that I would never color out of the lines. As I grew, it became less of something I absentmindedly watch and more of something I study, create, and love. I’m constantly surround with support from my family, friends, and art teachers. They have tremendously helped me grown as an artist and while they lift me up, they also keep me grounded. Specifically my brutally honest sister, who not only showers me with praises but also gives me constructive criticism when she knows I can do better. I always try to improve and explore with my art and I hope to incorporate art and technology in my future projects.
